On 30 April 2025, we had the pleasure of presenting our eClimber at the Forum Innovation Sociétale of the University of Lausanne. This year's forum focused on the crisis in the healthcare system. Staff shortages, rising costs and the political situation are increasingly leading to a dead end. The central question was therefore: could change come from the grassroots?
Together with other initiatives from French- and German-speaking Switzerland, we were able to show that innovations from everyday life can make a difference. Our actively assisting auto-belay device opens up access to climbing by making the climb easier. This expands people's room to move and promotes health.
This kind of innovation shows how solutions from everyday life can create real added value in healthcare, and exactly this practicality and applicability were at the heart of the forum.
